A Day in the Life With a Three Month Old

April 17, 2018 by Vivian Leave a Comment

Every day around here looks a little bit different but I LOVE watching a day in the life videos on YouTube so I thought it’d be fun to share my day in the life with a baby!

A Day in the Life With a Three Month Old

7-8am: Nathan and I are usually getting our day started around this time after many feedings all night long. We always start with a morning feed and diaper change, then it’s the most important part of my day – COFFEE.

I usually put Nathan in his Rock-N-Play while I make my coffee and breakfast. We always listen to music in the mornings (usually a Disney station).

I typically have oatmeal or eggs in the morning, nothing that takes too long to make. I also fill up my big water cup for the day.

8-10am: While I’m eating I’m usually multitasking by entertaining Nathan and checking my email and social media. I’ll reply to messages over on my second Instagram and make sure to plan my day.

Then we will usually play for a while which includes tummy time on his play mat. He loves the mat, but tummy time not so much.

After play time he will usually start acting hungry and tired, so we will do another feed and nap time.

Most days I try and get him to sleep and then set him in his Rock-N-Play but some days he only will sleep on me, so every day is different.

10am-12pm: I try and get work done around the house, usually cleaning and doing dishes. I’ll also take any photos for the blog or my Instagram accounts.

I am also still finishing my degree and am taking classes online so I try and squeeze in watching lectures or any homework assignments I may need to do as well.

If I have any SeneGence orders for the day I’ll get those packaged up to go out in the afternoon. Or, if I can I’ll sneak in watching a show (I always watch Vanderpump Rules, Housewives, Grey’s, and Riverdale every week) I love my TV haha.

Finally, I’ll make time to eat lunch. Breastfeeding makes me starvingggg so I have to make sure I eat good meals.

12-2pm: Is usually more eating and play time. We typically follow the baby schedule of eat, play, sleep. I’ll usually get us both ready for the day around this time, if we didn’t have anywhere to go earlier in the day.

2-5pm: Joe gets home around 2:30 so once he’s home it is my time to get all the stuff done that didn’t get done during the morning! Some days though I need to get out of the house so we’ll sometimes make a Target and Starbucks run or take packages to the post office. All depends on the day!

I’ll figure out dinner and start getting that prepped and cooked. We like to eat around five so we can have time to hangout before bed.

6-8pm: If the weather is nice we will take a family walk around the neighborhood and watch a couple of shows before starting our bedtime routine.

We’ll give Nathan a bath usually every other night and do his baby massage, and get dressed for bed.

9-10pm: We try to make sure we’re in bed before ten since we’re up so many times during the night and sleep is SO precious but SOO not what it used to be.

That’s about it around here lately! I am also doing a day in the life over on Instagram stories so be sure to check that out as well!
