In case you’re not following me on social media, I had my second baby in August! As a second time mom, I definitely feel like I packed way less than I did with my first. You really do realize that the hospital has a TON of what you need, but there’s a lot of comfort items you will want to have on hand. Here is a list of the items I brought and felt like were my must haves!
LMNT | I cannot explain how happy I was to have LMNT on hand for labor and postpartum. I personally think they are the best electrolytes out there.
A stainless steel cup | I know the hospital gives you a cup, but I love the fact that I had my own cup from home that kept ice cold for a long time. I’m obsessed with this new cup that doesn’t leak at all, plus it has a flip top straw so you don’t have to worry about anything getting into your water.
Frida Mom Boyshorts | Just trust me on these. They are elite.
Sound Machine | Hospitals are so loud, I love having a portable sound machine on hand even post hospital for on the go trips with baby!
Silver Nipple Shields | These literally saved me the first few weeks of breastfeeding.
Portable Fan | This came in clutch for labor, plus we used it for the baby in the stroller on walks during the summer!
Summer Fridays Lip Balm | Hands down the best lip balm.
Egg Light | So good for middle of the night feeds and changes. You can take it on the go, plus you can dim the light!
