Happy Thanksgiving week! I know that since most people start their Holiday shopping on Black Friday it seemed appropriate to get this up this week.
Now that I have a baby on the way, I knew I wanted my first gift guide of the season to be for the expecting mama. Personally I’m not buying myself much at the moment because of course buying things for our baby is much more important. that’s why I think that even just the smallest gift is such a nice gesture during the holidays if you have a friend, sister, or spouse who is expecting or who just had a baby.

Bath Robe | You cannot go wrong with a cozy bath robe, I hear that once you have your baby you will want to live in it because it’s just so comfortable and easy for breastfeeding.
Kate Spade Engraved Necklace | This would be an extremely thoughtful gift for an expecting or new mom with the baby’s initial on it.
Living Proof Dry Shampoo Set | Not only does this dry shampoo work like a charm, but it smells good as well. I’m sure there will be many days that new moms will be reaching for this.
Stila Lip Set | These fun little sets that come out at Ulta and Sephora during the holidays make for super fun gifts. If you have a beauty junkie in your life, these are perfect.
Josie Maran Body Butter | This body butter will make you feel super luxurious. Keeping your skin hydrated before/after baby is super important, and this one smells amazing.
Invisibobble | I am obsessed with these hair ties. They never leave a dent in my hair or give me a headache – AND they actually hold all of my extremely thick hair without falling all day. These are a really cute stocking stuffer gift.
Cozy Throw Blanket | Throw blankets make a great gift for anyone! I am constantly curled up on the couch with one, and feel like I can never have enough of them for all over the house.
Coffee Mug | There are so many adorable coffee mugs with fun and sassy sayings on them, that they are such an easy and fun gift. Pair with some coffee, chocolates, and maybe even a Starbucks gift card and this would make a great gift.
“Mom Wear” | I love all of the cute mom shirts with sayings on them – they are literally everywhere now and super fun to give to a new mom.
You can also never go wrong with a gift card to her favorite store, or a gift card for a pedicure. I know that any pregnant person or new mama would LOVE a spa pedicure, especially once she’s at the point of not reaching her toes anymore. Some people think that gift cards are informal but I honestly have never thought that at all when I receive them.
What are gifts you would love to receive as a new or expecting mom, or a gift that you plan on buying for one?
