Thank you VII Code for sponsoring today’s post. As always, all opinions are my own. *Affiliate links below.*
I feel like for every year I approach thirty (cue freak out) I need to step up my skincare game. I am loving my routine lately, and had to share. I try not to incorporate too many new products at once, and really give things a good try before recommending them.
First things first, I have pretty dry and sensitive skin.
I always wear facial SPF. No matter what. This is extremely important for preventing sun and age spots. It’s also important with my pre-melanoma history that I protect my face. I currently use the CeraVe SPF & my It Cosmetics CC cream has SPF 50 in it.
OleHenrickenson | C-Rush Vitamin C Gel Moisturizer – this was my *splurge* product and boy was it worth it. I am truly obsessed with how good this makes my skin feel. It gives your skin a pretty glow and helps your makeup glide on so smoothly. I cannot say enough good things about this moisturizer!
VII Code | Oxygen Mask for Dark Circles & Oxygen Hydrating Eye Spray – I have been using VII Code eye masks for the past year and recently started trying these that are specifically made for dark circles (which I definitely have) and love them! These eye masks actually stay under your eyes unlike many others. I can multitask or even sleep in these {for up to eight hours!}. They contain grapeseed oil, seaweed, and white tea to really help restore the under eye area. The eye masks do not contain alcohol and are a non-irritating formula, which is why they can be worn for so long! They make my under eyes extremely soft and hydrated. I cannot wait to keep using them! A pro tip is to keep these in your refrigerator for a really nice cooling spa like experience.
I have also been trying out their hydrating eye spray, and this is the first time I’ve ever heard of such a thing – but I’m obsessed! I am a huge fan of facial sprays in general and this has honestly helped the sensitive area on and around my eyes to stay hydrated – which in turn creates a softer appearance with less fine lines.
The Ordinary | “Buffet” – I am obsessed with the prices for this brand and the products they have. I am sold on this facial serum, it’s really great for dryness and fine lines. I typically use this every evening before my moisturizer and it’s a major winner.
The INKEY List | Caffeine Eye Cream – this is another brand at Sephora that I am loving the price point and ingredient list on them! The brand itself is cautious about using Safe ingredients and being cruelty free & that’s a win in my book. I have a real issue with dryness under my eyes and so far this has really brought hydration and helps my makeup not look caked on.
Thayers | Facial Toner “Rose Petal” – I have been using this product for well over a year now and it’s been my absolute favorite for removing my makeup. I just swipe this all over after washing my face to remove my makeup and it does a great job!
Young Living | Satin Mint Facial Scrub – it’s no secret I really am loving Young Living products right now and am really loving this scrub. It feels tingly and minty on the skin but isn’t abrasive like other scrubs. It makes my skin feel really clean and fresh afterwards. I typically use this 2-3 times a week.
So, that is my current skincare routine! Skincare is something I’ve really started to dedicate more time in the evenings, I’ve been really making sure I’m actually washing my face and doing my full routine. I know I didn’t mention a face cleanser, and that is because I use a very mild one that isn’t fancy, and I just started trying out the Drunk Elephant Melting Butter Cleanser recently and didn’t want to give my full recommendation until I use it longer (Although, I am lovvving it so far!) Do you use any of these products? Share your faves below, I’m always looking for new things to try!
