Where. Does. Time. Go??? I now have a one and a half year old, and I am still shocked. Once again I’m at a loss for words with how fast time flies once you have a child. This is truly proving to be the best age as he grows into toddler-hood. Yes, there are tantrums and more opinions, but I freaking love being able to communicate and really play with him. He’s got such a great loving personality and it shines through so much more now. He is saying tons of new words, and seems like he’s learning new ones all the time. He’s also started mimicking us and said “oh shoot” the other day, so I suppose it’s time to watch the words we use.
Nursing is still going strong. We were nursing about three times a day, but since he started cutting those dang canine teeth and once leap 10 started he’s become obsessed with breastfeeding like an infant. If you remember my weaning woes a month or so ago, those are no longer here because my supply came back after getting my thyroid medication back on track. We have tried Ripple milk, Almond, and Oat milk – he only wants the boob milk.
Sleep has gotten so much better. Of course we still have rough nights here and there, but for the most part he sleeps 7:30-about 6:00 (sometimes 6:30 if I’m lucky). He is also mostly on a one nap a day schedule which is usually 2.5 hours and it really is glorious! Now that I am working from home, I need this time to get all of the things done!
