We are a household that is obsessed with kids books. If you didn’t catch my last post on children’s books, I did one about our favorite Fall and Halloween books and since you guys seemed to really like it, I am doing a massive one for the holidays! Plus I want to share a fun “advent” style gift idea for your children.
What is the 12 days of bookmas?? Starting December 1st (or you can start on the 13th) we will have 12 wrapped books – numbered 1-12 or 1-25 if you have enough books. Some will be winter and Christmas themed, and some will not. We will let our son Nathan open one a night. This is a fun way to celebrate the holidays, and keep kids interested and excited about reading and books. Pro Tip: I put away all of Nate’s themed books after each season, and you can reuse them the following year. No need to go out and buy brand new books every single year. You can add in a few new ones, or even check out library sales in your area. Our son is a book fanatic, so I know this will be so much fun for him! I decided to use Toy Story wrapping paper this year, and I know he will be so excited!
So, here is a list of holiday and winter themed books (these are aimed at babies, toddlers, and young preschoolers!)
